If there’s one thing that’s heavily ignored amongst International students, it is definitely the awareness of Workplace Safety policies and procedures.
Most companies take great amount of responsibility in training employees at the beginning as well as throughout the year regarding Safety.
Whether it is about injury reporting procedures, immediate action steps in case of a spillage or filling accident report forms- newcomers find it difficult to get a firm understanding of the required action steps.
It is our humble request to everyone: please get in touch with your supervisors/managers/community members and stay equipped with first aid procedures and safety measures all the time.
