1. Goal Setting - 2022
Trust in the magic of new beginnings. There’s a unique kind of energy at the beginning of every day, every week, every month, and year.
It’s almost as if life is giving us all another chance to start from scratch.
If you are already working on your passion projects, new beginnings could mean adding new elements or meeting a new set of people.
If you are confused or lethargic or feel low for some reason, a new beginning could mean everything to you.
So, how do we set goals and simplify this process? - (Learn more)
2. Professional Speaker Corner
Strike a conversation with interesting minds
Speaker: Harpreet Singh (Board Member- S&I)
Event Highlights:
Research: Prior to connecting with influential people and industry leaders, one must clearly understand:
the objective of the meeting,
the professional background of the person you would like to meet,
and their availability.
Connect: Some of the most common ways you can connect with such individuals are:
LinkedIn: Approach them via LinkedIn and send a personal invitation to connect
Email: Send a cold email with a clear and concise subject and state the purpose of the meeting.
Social Media: Engage with the person by adding value to their content. They may have a youtube channel, a LinkedIn account, an organization where they volunteer, or a book they recently published. Learning from industry leaders is always a two-way conversation, and it begins with active engagement.
Follow-up: Keep in touch and reconnect regularly.
It is essential to have monthly or quarterly meetings with people you’ve met.
Build long-term relations.
Utilize social media to stay connected and continue adding value.
It is a cyclic process that creates a quality network.
